November 16 - International Day for Tolerance

Why can't we all just get along?

Now, I'm not perfect, but I don't understand why racism is still so prevalent today. On the news this afternoon I heard yet another story about nooses hung on a college campus in California. I mean, really? There are people out there that still think they are better than those with a different skin color? There are white people that still believe that black people should be lynched? Is it 1907, not 2007?

Of course, it isn't just a white/black issue, I was just using an example. Let's try to help erase prejudice and hatred. It can only help our world be a more comfortable place to live.
